Indian national survives shooting

BATAC CITY – A 49- year-old Indian national was shot and wounded in the abdomen by gunmen riding-in-tandem in this city last Thursday, June 9.

Witnesses said that the victim, Ravinder Singh, was standing in front of his apartment with a companion when the gunman approached and shot him instantly.

Supt. Virgilio Pascua, city police chief said that they are still conducting follow-up investigation on the shooting incident.

He added that they will further study the footage in a CCTV camera which was able to capture the identities of the two suspects in their motorcycle after the shooting.

It was learned that another Indian national was shot and killed last year in this city.(tsg)
