BACARRA, Ilocos Norte (Feb. 10) – A Filipino-US fugitive who was hiding in this town is now in the custody of US Embassy in Manila following his arrest here recently.
S/Insp. Jepphre Taccad, town police chief , said that joint investigators of Bureau of Immigration, INPPO and Bacarra police station arrested the wanted Fil-Am fugitive.
By virtue of a warrant of deportation, the arrested 23-year-old suspect was turned over to the custody the US Embassy, he said.
The suspect is facing two counts of sexual assault charges in the US. (tsg)
