LAOAG CITY, Jan. 8–A farmer was killed after a cow went berserk and dragged him around the Padsan river bed here, report said.
A relative said the victim identified as Bernie Dahilig expired at the nearby hospital due to severe injuries.
He said Bernie went to visit his small corn plantation at the Padsan river bed when he saw a cow on the loose eating his corn plants.
He tried to herd the animal away but the latter went wild. The cow’s harness cord looped on his arm as the beast dragged him around.(tsg w/ report from d.a.)
