PINILI, Ilocos Norte, Nov. 14– Pablico Sadiri, 36, farmer, of Brgy. Puritac, this town, was found dead floating in a fishpond on Saturday morning here, lawmen said.
The victim was last seen alive during a drinking spree with several friends on Friday night.
Sensing that he could no longer drive due to the influence of liquor, he left his motorcycle and opted to walk home.
Investigators theorized that due to the cover of darkness, the victim accidentally fell off the fishpond.
A rural health doctor who examined the victim’s body ruled out any foul play in the incident.
