PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte, Nov. 8–A bloodied motorcyclist was found lying on the highways.
Rescuers thought he was a victim of a road accident.
When closely examined, his body bore multiple gunshot wounds, believed to be the result of an ambuscade.
Police said the fatality was a construction worker of a former mayor and said to be an ex-convict.
