DINGRAS, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 8–Believe it or not. The Gaoiran family of Brgy. Elizabeth, this town had mixed emotion of joy and shock on what happened to their matriarch Praxedes Gaoiran, a leukemia patient at MMMHospital in Batac City. Doctors officially declared her dead. Her breathing stopped. Oxygen and other medical apparatus were detached from her body. Relatives then transported her to bring home the body aboard an ambulance. On their way to their house, the ambulance hit a road hump sending the passengers including the cadaver to shake. Suddenly, Nana Praxedes opened her eyes and complained of back pain caused by the hump impact, said daughter-in-law Sylvia, who was beside her. Her voice was loud, Sylvia added.
