City Hospital’s Construction Work is 80% Complete — Mayor Fariñas

LAOAG CITY (Aug. 29) – The construction work of the P350 million Laoag City General Hospital upgrading project is about 80% completed as of this date, City Mayor Michael V. Fariñas.

Mayor Fariñas, who just celebrated his 45th birthday last August 25, said as the project nears its completion, the city government had fast tracked the hospital staffing pattern in an effort to hire the best medical officers, professional nurses and personnel.

It was learned that St. Luke Hospital director Dr. Joven Cuanang, a native of Batac City, had assisted the city health office in listing the needed medical apparatus and other high-tech equipment to be purchased by the new Laoag hospital.
