The ongoing installation of a modern ventilation system at the Centennial Arena in Laoag City is expected to be completed by April this year, according to Engr. Charito Julian, provincial consultant.
The provincial government of Ilocos Norte through the provincial board appropriated last year P30 million for the project, report said.
It added that the ventilation system is not an air-condition run by compressor but a modern chiller run by water. Both have the same equal cooling power, the report further said.
