SOLSONA, Ilocos Norte, Nov. 14–Patricio Narciso, 50, married, and furniture shop owner of Brgy. Sta. Ana, this town was gunned down at about 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, police said.
Senior Inspector Rodelio Santos, police chief, said the victim, aboard his motorcycle, was on the way to fetch his wife when the gunmen riding in tandem ambushed him in Brgy. Laureta here.
S/I Santos told reporters that investigators are looking into the business deal angle or love affair problem.
“ We saw a picture of a woman, not of his wife, inside his wallet. However, when we checked with the woman, she denied any love relationship with the victim,” the police chief said.
