BID asked to deport Jap

CURRIMAO, Ilocos Norte, Oct. 21– A certain Ella of this town has sought police protection as she accused her Japanese husband as habitual trouble maker. Worst, he had destroyed some valuables inside their house while in a fit of anger.

After coming from the police, she went also to the Bureau of Immigration office based in Laoag City to seek help.

She wanted Itchu Otto, 52, be deported outright to his country in Japan. However, BID officers advised her to file a formal complaint against the foreigner to have a legal basis for probe so that they could initiate a deportation proceeding.(tsg/bbr)
