LAOAG CITY—The onset of rainy season also ushers in the resumption of dengue prevention program of various health agencies in the government.
For the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte, Dr. Artemio Gambalan, PHO officer-in-charge said that in anticipation of any outbreak of dengue cases, PHO is planning to purchase additional protective equipment and upgrading of fogging machines.
In the previous year, about P2 million were spent in various programs combating diseases including dengue.
As a preliminary move, PHO resumes its information and education drive in the local communities.
