PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte, Aug. 12– Efren Menor, an off-duty ambulance driver and father of two young policemen, was fatally shot by assailants riding in tandem at Brgy. Nagsanga, this town yesterday afternoon.
Brgy. Capt. Rogelio Menor, a cousin, said a witness saw the suspects riding in black Wave motorcycle when they shot the victim who was on board his bicycle.
“My cousin was a nice guy with no known enemy. It surprised me why he met a violent death,” he said.
Deputy Police Chief Rodel Casallo said investigators still faced a blank wall on the motive of the killing.(tsg)
