87 studes who served as distributors of Paspas Dur-as get honorarium

Gov. Imee Marcos has handed individual honorarium to the 87 students who worked recently as distributors of the printed copies of Paspas Dur-as, the official publication of the province of Ilocos Norte.

The student distributors who served for two days received P500 cash while those worked for one day got P250. They were deployed to the different towns of the province where they distributed to the people free copies of the Paspas Dur-as newsletter.

He added he and his group reached even the remote barangays of Laoag City in distributing the Paspas Dur-as publication.

Joey de Belen of MMSU, College of Industrial Technology (CIT), said he was grateful to Gov. Imee Marcos for their honorarium noting it can help his school needs.
“Receiving the honorarium is only secondary but what valued most is the enjoyable experience,” Joey added.

The Paspas Dur-as distributors are now automatically enlisted as Sirib Express volunteers. Both Joey and Ryan said that they were recruited by their senior Sirib Express volunteers. Both are looking forward for the next issue of Paspas Dur-as so that they would volunteer themselves again as “newsboys” of Paspas Dur-as.
