LAOAG CITY — The four Chinese nationals who were earlier sentenced to life imprisonment by a local court here were now sent to New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City.
Ilocos Norte Provincial Jail Warden Dario Estavillo said that his top priority was to move them from the INPJ to the New Biliibd Prison since they are considered as high risk inmates at their facility.
Estavillo identified the convicted inmates as Dang Huiyin, Liu Wen Xion, Leng Haiyun and Lei Guang Feng.
He said that these Chinese nationals have been under their watch following their arrest on May 2013 till their recent conviction for illegal possession of high-powered firearms and explosives. (tsg)
