BURGOS, Ilocos Norte, July 4—Almira Palacay, 18, perished and her five co-passengers sustained minor injuries when the tricycle they were riding in fell on a one-meter deep canal in Brgy. Nagsurot, this town.
Police said the tricycle driven by Edward Palacay was cruising the national highway southward when a passenger van overtook the victims’ ride. For unknown reason, the driver lost control of the tricycle resulting in the accident.
