BANGUI, Ilocos Norte, Sept. 8–Gravel-and-sand contractor Joseph Acio, 48, married, of Poblacion Dos, Pagudpud town, was shot and wounded yesterday in Brgy. Lanao, this town by gunmen riding in tandem, police reported.
Investigators said the victim was standing in front of a motor repairing shop on the national highway here when the motorcycle-riding suspects arrived and repeatedly fired at him.
Hit on the different parts of the body, the victim was rushed to the Bangui district hospital and later transferred to the hospital in Batac City. (tri-media report)
