Supt. Edwin Balles, city police chief, reported that the notorious Budol-Budol Gang struck anew in Laoag City.
The gang’s latest victims were two women depositors who just came from the bank.
The two are from San Nicolas and Bacarra towns.
He said a certain Amy Reyes of Cebu, a suspected member of the gang, was arrested and later charged in court.
Investigators said Reyes was positively identified as one of those who divested the victims of cash, jewelry, and cellular phone.(tri-media report)
