BURGOS, Ilocos Sur, May 11 — Farmers here confirmed that a wild dog was the principal suspect that attacked and killed ten goats on a farm at the outskirt of this town, lawmen reported.
Manong Victor, the owner, said his one mature goat and nine others were killed last Monday and Wednesday respectively in separate incidents of a dog attack in their village.
The goats were eventually butchered and eaten outright by the villagers after the town veterinary office declared the said goat meats were safe for human consumption.(tsg)
