PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 25–Kagawad (councilman) Vincent Manzano, 39, was shot and killed by a masked gunman inside a videoke bar at Brgy. Dilavo, this town last night, police said.
Police chief Fritz Tabula reported that the suspect barged into the beer house and shot the victim who was singing in the videoke.
The victim’s wife told investigators that her husband had received a death threat but he ignored it.
Police record showed that the victim was an alleged witness to the 2015 killing of the late barangay captain Salvador Castillo of the same village.
