NUEVA ERA, Ilocos Norte (Oct. 2) – A woman was found dead with a gunshot wound in her chest, lawmen said.
Police authorities identified the victim as Mercedes Borgan, a resident of Bgy. Poblacion, this town.
Investigation showed that Borgan allegedly shot herself after she had an argument with her live-in partner.
Inspector Roderick Vintero, chief of police, said probers will make sure that there was no foul play on the incident.
Meanwhile, a housemaid allegedly killed herself by slitting her wrist with a Gillette blade.
Probers identified the victim as Jonalyn Burigsay, 25, househelper of Brgy. 13, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.
