PAOAY, Ilocos Norte, Feb. 11–A police character from Batac City was tagged as the suspect in the burglary and shooting incident at Brgy. Sangladan, this town.
The suspect is now held by cops in Laoag City for a new criminal offense. Two of the victims in the Sangladan burglary went to see the detained suspect in Laoag. They positively identified him as the alleged burglar who stole their valuables.
During the burglary, a house guest was shot and wounded when he tried to stop the thief. The burglarized house was owned by the late Ruel Renon, the money lender who was gunned down and robbed in Batac City recently.(tsg/ga)
