BACARRA, Ilocos Norte (Aug. 19) – Mrs. Emma Velasco described the killers of her husband Dionisio and daughter Dianne Rose as “devils and Satans”. The teary-eyed widow spoke to journalists and condemned the barbaric slaying of her two loved ones.
“Are you now extremely happy that you have succeeded in killing my husband and innocent daughter”, she unleashed her ire to the perpetrators of the ambush.
She said she would also have been killed in the ambush if she had joined her husband in fetching Dianne Rose in the school that fateful night of Aug. 18. “I intended to ride with him to get Dianne but he objected. He just told me to close the gate and stay at home”, Mrs. Velasco said.(rj/jg)
