LAOAG CITY (May 10) – Ex-SPO4 Apolonio Medrano was freed from jail after posting a P200,000 bail for his temporary liberty, it was confirmed by provincial jail warden Bonnie Tagatac Jr. Medrano, together with several alleged accomplices, had been accused in the 2004 murder of Marcos town mayor Rogelio Pambid.
Medrano’s petition for bail was granted by RTC Judge Benjamin Turgano of Branch 15 here. Medrano was a bemedalled cop as intelligence officer in Region I.
