SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte, Oct. 30– Ashley Madamba, 45, son of former town mayor Benjamin Madamba, was allegedly murdered by three suspects who hired and rode in his tricycle last night, police said.
Investigators said the body of Ashley was found in a roadside in Brgy. 16, Payas Rd. at about 2:30 a.m. Passersby thought he was a victim of self-vehicular accident.
They said the body bore gunshot wounds in the face and rib side.
Residents told cops that they heard gunshots near the crime scene that night.
Motive of the slay is still unknown.(bb)
