Slain Broadcaster was a Lay Minister

BACARRA, Ilocos Norte (June 21) – Philippine Independent Church Bishop Emil Domingo of the Diocese first district disclosed that murdered DZJC broadcaster Lito Agustin was also an active lay minister who served communion to the Churchgoers during regular Sunday masses when he was still alive. He described Lito as God-fearing and active in church activities . Lito is big loss to the PIC congregation and media circle, he said.

Earlier, Catholic Bishop of Laoag Sergio Utleg condemned the brutal slaying of Agustin and extolled press freedom.
