DINGRAS, Ilocos Norte, March 7–NBI agents from Manila raided several drugstores in Laoag City, Dingras, Solsona and other towns in the province and seized several alleged assorted fake and imported medicines. Due to alleged unfair business competition, some pharmaceutical companies in Manila had apparently complained to the NBI that some med-reps had flooded the provinces with imported medicines and were sold to the public at very low prices. Sources said these imported medicines had no official BFAD mark.
