Around 40 patients of Gov. Roque B. Ablan, Sr. Memorial Hospital (GRBASMH) in Laoag City received gifts from the different branches of Philippine National Bank (PNB) in Ilocos Norte during the Christmas season.

As part of their annual gift giving project, the Laoag, Laoag-Castro, Batac and Pasuquin branches of PNB distributed packages containing baby soaps, baby powder, baby oil, diapers, tissue papers and health products.

The beneficiaries were charity patients of the maternity and pediatrics wards recommended by Dr. Roger Braceros, chief of hospital, and the social welfare representative of GRBASMH.

The annual gift giving, which is now in its 11th year, was led by Ms. Christine Marie M. Rillera, senior assistant vice president of PNB.

Meanwhile, PNB Laoag, headed by branch manager Maria Goretti Paz V. Guerrero, held an outreach program at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Laoag City.

More than 250 residents of BJMP Laoag were given free rice, grocery products and toiletries.
