The Department of Labor and Employment said there are 17 new one-stop processing centers (OSPC) located in 11 regions throughout the country.

hey process the requirements of Overseas Filipino workers (OFW) through the One-Stop Shop Kabayanihan Program of the Province.

OFW Desk Officer Dolorez Cortez said, “The One-Stop Shop Kabayanihan Program offers convenience and less expense services to Ilocano OFWs since they do not need to go to the Regional Office of POEA in La Union for the processing of their papers and most especially the services of the NBI, OWWA, POEA and Pag-ibig are already available under one roof which is found at the Provincial Capitol.”

The following services are issuance of Overseas Employment Certificates (OEC) by POEA, OWWA membership processing, payments for the Pag-ibig Fund, release of National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance and other welfare concerns.

The One-Stop Shop Kabayanihan Program was launched by Gov. Imee Marcos as one of her administration’s priorities for the province since she first assumed office, Cortez said.
