SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte (Nov. 4) – An elderly woman was declared dead on arrival at the hospital after she accidentally fell from a motorcycle she was riding in as back rider.
The victim was identified as Rosa Capiola, 60 and resident of Brgy. 4, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte.
Initial investigation showed that Capiola was riding in a motorcycle driven by Alex Duldulao when the motorcycle suddenly hit a stray dog causing Capiola to fall with her head hitting the concrete pavement.
Due to the strong impact, the victim suffered severe skull injury. (EDG)
