DINGRAS, Ilocos Norte, Aug. 5–Remember the mysterious woman fatally shot by suspected holdupers in Quezon City last week?
A CCTV camera night footage showed in the national television captured she was walking alone in the street with open umbrella and later, her body sprawled near a parked car.
The footage further showed two men riding in tandem, one was holding a shoulder bag, probably snatched from the victim.
The strange woman was later positively identified as Diana Taylan, a native of Brgy. Baresbes, of this town.
Criselda Taylan said her daughter Diana previously worked abroad.
She was in Manila applying for another job in Korea.
Mayor Erdio Valenzuela said LGU-Dingras, with help from the provincial government, would aid the victim’s relatives in bringing home her remains.(tsg/al/bbr)
