PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte (Jan. 15) – Three persons were arrested in a checkpoint here after they were caught of transporting suspected illegally cut narra log worth P50,000.
The suspects identified as Jose Manding, driver of L-300 van, Marissa Delomen, and Nenita Leonila, all residents of the province of Cagayan, failed to present any proper documents for the logs when arresting officers interrogated them.
The seized logs were turned over to the custody of the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office under PENRO Engr. Juan P. de los Reyes.
