SARRAT, Ilocos Norte, Dec. 24–Gov. Imee Marcos disclosed that her son Michael Marcos Manotoc, a fresh lawyer, is not inclined in politics (come 2016 elections).
She was reacting to a rumor that Michael, one of her three sons, is being groomed to run for mayor come 2016 in this town, birthplace of the late President Ferdinand Marcos, his grandfather.
She said the rumor spread as intrigue because incumbent Mayor Edito Balintona is now “graduating” being in his last term.
My sons Michael, Borgy and Mathew or even from the side of Bongbong and Irene are not interested to join politics (in the coming 2016 polls), she hinted. (tsg w/ ga report)
