BATAC CITY, Ilocos Norte- City Mayor Jeffrey Nalupta has finally appointed Ms. Merryline Gappi as new city agriculturist after the Sangguniang Panglunsod gave its nod during a deliberation.
City Vice Mayor Ronald Allan Nalupta said Gappi deserves the appointment owing to her impressive track record having served as section head of the city agriculture office for a long time.
In accepting the department head task, Ms. Gappi vowed to serve well her new duties and responsibilities to the best of her ability. She said to help solve the perennial woes of the local farmers in Batac will be among her priority agenda.(tsg)
