BANGUI, Ilocos Norte, March 26–San Lorenzo Barangay Chairman Elmer Faylogna has foreseen more business activities in his barangay with the formal opening of the new public market building in this northern coastal town.
Failoga said the new Bangui market is located in his area of jurisdiction, hence, business boom is expected to develop in his barangay of San Lorenzo (Poblacion).
Numerous local businessmen were already given priority to occupy the commercial stalls, he said.
Economic experts expressed optimism that the new Bangui public market will propel trade and commerce activities that generate more revenues for the municipal government under the leadership of town Mayor Diosdado Garvida and Vice Mayor Fidel Cimatu Jr. (Theo S. Guiang)
