BATAC CITY– Mayor Jeffrey Nalupta urged his overseas city mates to organize more Annak ti Batac associations in their respective areas abroad to foster unity, fellowship and camaraderie among themselves.
He said many city mates, immigrants or OFWs, in far away land are sometimes or often homesick and lonesome, hence, they may find solace in the comfort of their Annak ti Batac compatriots.
He cited the solidarity of the present Annak Ti Batac Associations in Hongkong, Singapore, Canada, USA, Europe and other parts of the world.
Also, some Annak ti Batac groups have laudable projects back home while others are engaged in charitable works for the needy, it was learned. (tsg w/ rs report)
