Marcos siblings dismayed over dad’s ruined clothes, etc

LAOAG CITY (Sept. 25)– Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos expressed dismay over reports on the decaying condition of the clothes and other personal effects of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos and former first lady Imelda Marcos at the national museum.

She said that it would be better if the custody of the seized Marcos properties is now turned over to the Province of Ilocos Norte for safekeeping and for the sake of posterity.

She added that these precious items may be preserved for study of history by students and researchers in general.

These are considered valuable historical artifacts, she said.

Meanwhile, Sen.  Bongbong Marcos was saddened by the Aquino administration’s negative policy over seized Marcos properties, which to him have big historical value left by his father’s rule in Malacañang. (Theo S. Guiang)
