Man survives dynamite explosion

CARASI, Ilocos Norte (March 28) – A 42-year-old man survived a dynamite explosion in this town as he only suffered minor wounds in his hands and chest.

The victim was identified as Elpidio Torribio, married and presently residing at Brgy. 1, of said town.

Based on initial report, Torribio was allegedly making a home-made dynamite when the same accidentally exploded.

Torribio is now recuperating at the Gov Roque Ablan Sr Memorial Hospital where he was immediately rushed by his relatives.(Theo S. Guiang)
