PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte (Sept. 24) – A 69-year-old man allegedly put an end to his life using a .38 caliber pistol here.
S/Insp. Lauro Milan, chief of police of Pasuquin identified the victim as Carmelo Cariaga, a resident of Barangay Poblacion, of this town.
Milan said that before the incident Cariaga was in grief afer the latter’s wife sold his tricycle, which was their sole source of livelihood.
Relatives of Cariaga were clueless how the victim got hold of the gun.
