LC to set free wifi in public areas

LAOAG CITY, Nov. 14 – Citing the importance of internet connectivity in our daily lives, the city government is embracing the national mandate of providing free wifi access to the public.

Information Technology Officer Franz Felipe said that Laoag City Mayor Chevylle Fariñas has tapped his department to identify the public areas around the city.

Felipe disclosed that the first public area where free wifi access for residents will be installed at Aurora Park, which is surrounded by major business establishments and government offices.
