Fariñas expressed her joy saying, we achieved this honor no matter how small and big our efforts are. We were given high points in peace and order and with that, let’s give recognition to the PNP, barangay officials, tanods, and security officials.”

Recently, ABS-CBN TV network, released a summer station ID featuring Laoag City in a short cameo, focusing the iconic Laoag signage.

“I’d like to thank ABS-CBN for giving Laoag the honor of being included in its station ID. It focused on the sunshine. We all know that when we talk about the sunshine, Laoag City is the Sunshine City,” Fariñas said.
