LAOAG CITY, March 16–Fisher folks here are fond of making mini fish sanctuary locally called “rama” along the Padsan river here.This morning, Mang Nicanor (not his real name) and friends agreed the rama was due for harvest.
River-bound for the rama harvest, he brought with him his children so that they could go swimming. When time was up for home, one of his kids was missing. After an hour-long search, rescuers found the victim’s body floating in the shallow water for kangkong plants. The teary-eyed mother said it was an accident.(mm)
