LAOAG CITY, Aug. 8– Kenneth Bumanglag’s birthday party celebration with selected friends last Wednesday night ended in tragedy as two armed men riding in tandem fatally shot him in front of his residence at M. H. del Pilar St. in Brgy. 23, this city. Police investigators said the victim allegedly received a cellphone call at the height of the celebration. To get a clearer signal, he apparently went in front of their house. At that juncture, the gunmen approached him and repeatedly pumped bullets into his body. OIC police chief, Supt. Jeffrey Gorospe said the perpetrators were believed to be professional hired killers as they shot the victim twice in the head. Brgy. Chairman Amor Lauricio told reporters that the victim had no record of unlawful activities in his barangay.(r.m.)
