INWD Worker Dies in Freak Accident

PASUQUIN, Ilocos Norte (Dec. 30)– An employee of the Ilocos Norte Water District (INWD) died when he was hit by falling rocks due to an erosion while he and his co-workers were repairing a damaged transmission line of INWD in Brgy. Dilomot, this town.
INWD General Manager John Teodoro identified the victim as Alex Beronilla, 42, and resident of Brgy. Susugaen, Pasuquin.
Beronilla was brought to the nearest hospital but was declared by government doctors dead on arrival.
Teodoro said that the company will extend financial assistance to victim’s family.
