INPJ inmates’ meal allowance increased to P60 per day

The daily meal allowance of each inmate at the Ilocos Norte provincial jail in Laoag City has been increased from P55 to P60 per day. The increase was approved by the provincial government following the request of OIC provincial warden Dario Estavillo. Due to the prevailing high cost of prime commodities, the request was made to cushion its impact on the food ration of the inmates, he said.(tsg/jg/ga)
