BADOC, Ilocos Norte (Feb. 5) – A carpenter died in a freak accident when the electric hand drill slipped from his grip while working in the construction of a residential house in Brgy. Caraitan, this town.
The victim was identified as Jomer Laeno, 37, and resident of the same barangay
His co-workers narrated that the victim accidentally lost his grip on the tool with a 2 inches long drill hitting directly his chest.
Jomer is survived by his wife and four kids aged 10, 5, 4 and 1. (tsg)
