BADOC, Ilocos Norte, Nov. 21–Fernando Pambid and Mark Darwin Salvador died and their companion Roger Mamuad was injured when their Toyota Grandia Hi-Ace van collided head-on with a delivery truck along the national highway at Brgy. Sta. Cruz Norte, this town at early dawn today, police said.
All three came from Manila and were on their way home to San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. Pambid, the driver, died on the spot while Salvador, the passenger also on the front seat, was dead on arrival at the hospital. Mamuad, who was seated at the back, survived and treated for leg injury.
Jefferson Lacro, the delivery truck driver, suffered injuries on the face while his helpers Warlito Villora and Roger Gaspar, were slightly hurt. All three were bound for La Union province. Their truck was loaded with fruit juice drinks. (tsg)
