CAMP JUAN, June 13—Four suspected goat thieves operating in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur were apprehended during a hot pursuit operation in Laoag City by CIDG agents.
The suspects’ van allegedly used in their theft activities was impounded. Found inside were six live goats apparently stolen from different owners.
Several farmers from Sarrat town and San Juan, Ilocos Sur went to the CIDG headquarters at INPPO here upon learning the news about the recovered animals. Some owners claimed their stolen goats after they positively identified them.
