BADOC, Ilocos Norte (Sept. l0) – A wanted person was captured by police operatives during a raid in his house at Brgy. Aluguog, this town.
S/Insp. Amador Quiocho, Chief of Police of Badoc, said the fugitive, Danilo Tolentino alias “Jojo” has a standing arrest warrant for murder charges in Batac City.
Quiocho said a police informer tipped off the presence of Tolentino who just returned home after one year of hiding.
The fugitive tried to escape but lawmen had cordoned the area and nailed him in the process. “It pays for our cops who jog everyday. So the suspect was no match to them when they chased him in the wooded area,” Quiocho told newsmen. Police may file charges against his wife for trying to hide him from the authorities.
