SINAIT, Ilocos Sur, March 24–Sparked by misunderstanding, Robin Soriano Jr. and Alvin Barbosa turned their quarrel into tragedy.
Police said the former first whipped a dagger and allegedly stabbed Barbosa. Both rolled in the ground.
Although bloodied, Barbosa managed to wrestle the knife and stabbed Soriano repeatedly.
Soriano was dead on arrival at the hospital while Barbosa remains under medical treatment for stab wounds.(tsg w/ bm report)
