Ex-IBP President’s House Sprayed with Bullets

PAOAY, Ilocos Norte (Dec. 22) – The house of former Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) local chapter president Ferdinand Ignacio was sprayed with bullets by still two unidentified gunmen this early dawn at Brgy. Salbang, this town, lawmen said.

Lawyer Ignacio said that he had just arrived home after attending a wake when the incident took place at about 3:30 AM.

He said the motive of the shooting might be work-related.

Police investigators led by Police Chief Jaime Quiocho recovered six empty shells of caliber .9mm pistol bullets near the gate entrance of the house.

Ignacio recalled that it was already the second time that his house was sprayed with bullets.

Luckily, nobody was hurt in both incidents.
